Quality Control Engineer
Location: Sidcup, South East.

Role Summary:
On a day to day basis you will be working with the Quality and Standards Manager highlighting areas of weakness and opportunities for improvement, recommending actions to help achieve the availability and reliability of rolling stock. You will be identifying any recurring faults, analysing the root cause and looking at the processors and procedures to improve quality. This includes the supply chain, maintenance and project plans.
This is a great opportunity for you to come off the tools from a Technician/Team Leader role and to divert your skills, experience and career into Quality Control Engineering of rolling stock. With securing this positon you will also be provided with top quality training which can lead your career into more safety and approvals opportunities.
What you need to bring to the table:
In order to secure this exciting opportunity within engineering you will need a minimum of two years with working on EMU rolling stock with experience of working on systems, maintenance processes and fault finding. You will also need a minimum of NVQ Level 3/HND/HNC in an engineering discipline, proven problem solving and the motivation to make an impact in the engineering department.
