About the role
Here at Babcock International, we’re looking to recruit an Engineer to assist with the provision of technical support to the Project team for the planning and delivery of track renewals and associated civil engineering works, ensuring technical aspects of all works comply with relevant Group and Line Standards and safety legislation.
What do I need to do the role?
You will have proven experience working on Rail ‘Permanent way’ projects (track renewals), signalling renewals and general civil engineering works.
You will hold minimum HNC level qualification in an Engineering discipline, and hold a current PTS (PERSONAL TRACK SAFETY) card.
You must also be able to carry out surveying and setting out duties using traditional and modern equipment, and be able to control excavation and construction of track duties.
What else do I need to know?
Travel to various rail sites will be required within commutable distance from Belfast, and you must be able to work nights and weekends as part of a roster pattern.
