Samuel Knight are working with a leading international rail hire and logistics company who are looking to add an ambitious Engineering Administrator to their core team based in Birmingham, UK.

The main focus of the role will be to provide administrative support to the ECM / Safety management system for our client’s extensive fleet. This will include administering the day to day management of the Integrated Management System (IMS). Ideally, we are searching for a technician with previous rail industry experience & a keen desire to work within a QA / Engineering safety administration capacity.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work both autonomously & within a team as part of a flexible 37.5 hour week.

Other required skills include:

• Previous Rolling Stock or Rail Experience
• Administrative skills and experience particularly including database management, project coordination, audits & document control.
• Great organisation and communication skills with the passion and enthusiasm to drive the wider business forward
• Prior experience working in a Quality Assurance / Reliability / Safety role is desirable
• Technical qualifications or experience in a technical role are desirable
