Job Description
Following continued expansion of our rail business, we are looking for Engineers and Consultants of all levels of experience to work on Systems Engineering opportunities.

Requirements
The successful candidates should have a degree in a relevant discipline and tangible experience gained in the rail sector.
As appropriate to the stage of your career, you will have experience in some of the following:
- A Systems, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with a good degree (upper second or above) and demonstrable and relevant work experience, you will have a fundamental understanding of the Systems Engineering process as well as experience of applying these skills within a rail environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of contemporary Systems Engineering practices such as Model Based Systems Engineering, requirements management, architectural design, interface management and verification & validation, preferably within rail projects. While the ability to demonstrate the application of relevant Systems Engineering methodologies and toolsets (including DOORS and Systems Modelling tools) are desirable it is more important that you are able to demonstrate the ability to apply 'Systems Thinking' to problems at technical, project or enterprise level.
- Demonstrable rail experience, allowing you to demonstrate a broad knowledge across all rail engineering aspects and operations with specialist knowledge in at least one key area such as:
o Train Control / Signalling
o Rolling Stock
o Telecommunications
o Track infrastructure
o Structures
- You must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written and have experience of direct client liaison. Previous exposure to a consultancy environment would be an advantage.
