We are currently looking for a Network Operations Engineer to join our team at telent in our Pirin Court office.
Role Profile:
The NOC Analyst is responsible for providing technical support within the 24/7 Service Centre.
The role will cover 24/7 work pattern based on 4 on/4 off shift rota (12 hour shifts).
Typical Deliverables:
• Monitor and manage the telent remote monitoring platform and respond to events accordingly, providing high quality technical support for all incidents and technical requests by performing fault identification, diagnosis and resolution in order to meet agreed service levels
• Provide clear and concise verbal and written communication, with the ability to provide technical updates to those whom may not be of the same technical level
• To provide timely responses to the incident management process which includes investigation, troubleshooting, diagnosis and data analysis.
• Recognise, identify and prioritise incidents in accordance with customer business requirements, organisational polices and operational impact.
• Investigate, evaluate, diagnose and resolve events following receipt of events alerts on the remote monitoring platform in line with SLA requirements.
• Notify customer and third parties of issues, outages and remediation status.
• Trend analysis and root cause analysis to support the Incident and Problem Management processes
• Collect and review performance reports for various systems, and report trends in systems and performance to assist the Problem Management Process to improve on future issues.
• Work alongside the telent service desk to ensure accurate and timely updates against customer SLAs
• Work with internal and external technical and service teams to create and/or update knowledge base articles
Role Requirements:
• Previous experience within a shift based NOC role would be ideal.
• Technical diagnosis & problem solving skills.
• CCNA or JNCIA qualification (preferably CCNP or working towards)
• Preferable to have Transmission, Voice/Wireless Security experience/ exposure.
