It's an exciting time here at Greater Anglia, as we embark on our transformational new franchise investing £1.5 billion in a completely new fleet of trains as well as upgrading stations and passenger information systems in our franchise through to 2025. But we've got a lot of challenging targets, both for the performance of our trains and for our customer experience, and that's where you come in.
We're looking for an Operations Control Manager, to lead operational service delivery within the Anglia Integrated Control Centre. Working alongside the Information Control Manager and reporting to the Head of Control, you will be expected to manage service delivery activities, competency assessments and operations control performance budgets.
You'll be expected to work closely with Network Rail, as well as the other TOCs and FOCs on Anglia route to ensure that Greater Anglia meets its challenging performance and customer experience targets. You'll be responsible for a team of 23 Operations Controllers, who you will need to motivate and challenge to improve how we respond to incidents and manage the train service during times of disruptions. To achieve this you'll be engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we're delivering the best possible service for our customers daily.
You will have a strong understanding of drivers of National Passenger Survey (NPS) scores and ATOC industry standards. Knowledge of railway operating rules, procedures and arrangements, particularly those related to incident management, including the relevant industry codes of practice. You will have an understanding of company operating processes relating to incident management and information provision, in particular P-MIP and C-COMMS.
You will need to hold an assessor and verifier qualifications to current company standards along with basic knowledge of template Track Access Agreement with Network Rail and associated documentation.
