We are currently on the lookout for an Operations Integration Manager to join the heart of the UK's largest rail infrastructure project, Crossrail.
As the Operations Integration Manager you'll manage operational integration issues with internal and external stakeholders and lead on the verification and validation activities pertaining to the operating rules developed on behalf of Crossrail and the supporting procedures and instructions for RFLI. You'll manage the Verification and Validation process for RFLI operating rules, instructions and procedures through trial running and trail operations into full passenger services, identifying and managing any change requirement as they arise.
In addition to the above you'll also be responsible for leading, managing and administering the activities as the Secretary of the Operators Review Panel (ORP)

About You:

• Strong understanding of signalling operating principles, systems and standards applicable to both mainline and metro railways.
• Understanding of strategic risk management tools and techniques including HAZID and HAZOP.
• Understanding of project lifecycles and the role of the operator in a live project environment.
• Degree in operations management or equivalent experience gained within the railway industry.
• Substantial knowledge of current railway operating rules and instructions and the process used for development of operating rules, instructions and procedures.
• Broad knowledge of how operating standards for a mainline railway IM are managed both internal to the organisation and external in the wider industry environment.
• Ability to communicate and influence effectively amongst peers.
• Ability to establish a course of action for self and others, managing time, resources and surrounding circumstances to deliver objectives.
• Proficient in MS office skills, especially Word, Excel and Visio
• Experience developing railway operating principles, procedures and local working instructions for railway environments.
• Experience developing business management systems.
• Ability to work effectively with asset engineers and others to deliver improved infrastructure and systems

Location: Endeavour Square, Stratford
Rate: Negotiable (role falls inside IR35 and so any successful candidate will have to operate via an umbrella solution)
