You will have a fantastic opportunity to utilise your knowledge of engine building to become a part of this dynamic company. .

You will predominantly be working on Diesel locomotives doing repairs, refurbishments and overhauls.

The types of engines you will be working on are

• Ruston
• Perkins
• Merlin
• Cummins

Location: Leicester

Your key responsibilities

• Overhauling
• Repairs
• Fault Finding
• Testing

Yourself, what do you need to succeed?

You will have extensive experience of working on diesel engines and you must have previous experience of working on engines within a locomotive or a similar large engine environment (ie HGV or aeronautical)

You will have good attention to detail, and be able to learn new skills.

You will need to have the following

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Have previous experience in a similar role
• Experience of working on two, four and six stroke engines
• You must have an NVQ level 2 or 3 in mechanical engineer
• Ideally you will have 5 years previous experience
