Job Title: Interior Cabin Fitter – Rolling Stock

Wanted! I have an urgent requirement for Interior Fitters to carry out high-end installations on a fleet of luxury trains that are well associated with the British public.

Our client is a well-known rolling stock technical service provider who has made a name themselves as a professional outfit. With over 100 years’ experience they are known for being the world’s leading manufacturer of rolling stock components and supplier of additional sub-systems for rail and commercial vehicles.

The Candidate:

Do you have that artistic edge to your skill set and looking to utilise it in a new sector? Look no further, you are needed for a business-critical rolling stock project to carry out work on sleeper trains. Our client is keen to work with candidates who have a background in fitting high end bespoke built in furniture on boats, private jets, traditional trains (e.g. Orient Express) and made to measure built in furniture.

The Role:

You will be tasked with using your skills of crafting, cutting and fitting to a high-quality finish wood, metals and plastics to client specification using drawings / diagrams for a perfect fit in a variety of areas on the sleeper trains.

Requirements:

Experience is the only real requirement.

Rate: £19 - £21 per hour (days) and £21 per hour (nights) up to 72 hours per week Alternating shifts of days and late afternoon / evenings.
