What will the role of Project Engineer entail?
You will be responsible for project engineering all aspects of the Class 319 C4 project. You’ll create both heavy maintenance block cards and work instructions, as well as the project work breakdown structure (WBS). Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Working closely with the Project Team to ensure the timely resolution of material or obsolescence issues
- Creating and maintaining Microsoft Project plans
- Supporting the Project Manager in the presentation of KPIs and contract related information
- Managing the interaction and delivery of services from colleagues to ensure the timely delivery of projects
- Driving continuous improvement innovations
- Ensuring working locations are fit for purpose and compliant with standards
What will I need to be considered for this Project Engineer vacancy?
- Proven experience within heavy maintenance project engineering, ideally with C4 and EMU experience
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings to provide technical solutions
- Excellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Project and Excel
- Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective internal and external working relationships
- Full UK driving licence
Although not essential, a relevant Engineering qualification and/or professional membership of IMechE / IET, and people management training would be highly advantageous for the role.
What will I receive in return?
Salary: £34,012 per annum

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
