Brake Sales Engineer - Rail and Heavy Industrial

EBC Brakes are recruiting a Brake Sales Engineer with experience in the heavy braking sector to develop new business for the company’s heavy industrial brake manufacturing division located in Bristol.

The role will entail visiting, establishing and supporting new and existing railway operator accounts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and develop an existing customer base and attainment of agreed budget
• Target and develop new customers and opportunities in the heavy braking sector, rail, commercial vehicle and industrial
• Ability to have discussions at all levels within a varied customer base
• Technical product and application knowledge and experience
• Liaise with the R&D department and support team
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and grow a sales territory
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and tenacious
• Experience of the following braking markets; Rail, Commercial Vehicle, Industrial/OTR
• Maintain records and projects within a CRM database

Experience in the rail industry with an engineering background essential. Knowledge of the commercial vehicle and industrial market would be an advantage. Training will be provided in the company’s specific product range.

The ideal candidate will be self motivated and well organised with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate others. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong work ethic.
