Our client is a leading provider of heavy plant equipment and solutions to the Rail Industry and are now seeking a key member of staff to join their Business Development Team as their Sales Coordinator Assistant (could suit job share applicants)

The role is crucial in supporting their busy BD team in creating appointments, generating quotations, following up with customer telephone calls alongside carrying out general administrative duties on their behalf.

A courteous manner with an enthusiastic and confident outlook, and able to work in a busy office environment while prioritising day-to-day work activities for maximum productivity is essential. This is a busy role and at times can be pressurised with several activities happening at the same time that need attention to detail and accuracy in being managed.

Duties will include the following:

- Outbound calls to prospective customers to book appointments, collate data for the field based Business Development Managers

- Assist with the preparation of quotations via the Hire Booking System

- Liaise and follow up with customers regarding the quotations

- Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly reports

- Supporting the team with administration to help reach the teams objectives

- Dealing with inbound calls and emails

Essential

- 2 years administration experience

- Excellent communication skills

- Demonstrate an excellent telephone manner

- Confident of using Word, Excel & PowerPoint to a high standard

- Able to multi-task

- Be organised and methodical
