An exciting opportunity has become available for a Sales Manager - North Region based in York. The Sales Manager is a key position in the Business Development & Tendering Department.
Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of key accounts in that region. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Tendering team, Regional Sales Manager and Regional Delivery Directors.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Sales planning and account management
- Account management for key accounts within region
- Ensure opportunities are captured and continuously maintained on the CRM system
- Develop strong collaborative relationships within the internal and external teams
- Ensure compliance with business processes and governance procedures
- Be a contributor in the development of Business Development and Tendering budgets and forecasts
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Business-related discipline or equivalent experience
- Business development oriented
- Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of CRM software packages, i.e., salesforce.com (wall-C)
Desirable:
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Working knowledge and understanding of commercial contracts used in signalling, systems, and infrastructure projects
- Delivery and results focused
