Based in modern offices in the centre of Swindon, you will play an integral role within the internal design team, developing the industry’s next best engineers within railway system design.

As you’ll be responsible for leading the team, you can expect to not only oversee the creation of the signalling design throughout the full project lifecycle, but also you will be responsible for developing the engineer’s technical capabilities and undertaking CRE duties. For a fully qualified Principal Signalling Design Engineer, the salary available is upwards of £50k plus package including holidays, pension, healthcare and bonus.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in suitable engineering subject – e.g. Electrical engineering
• Demonstrable experience in signalling design engineer role
• Incorporated or Chartered Engineer with relevant membership – e.g. IET
• IRSE licence – verifier and principle
