One of the world s leading rail transport solutions providers is seeking to employ two proven signalling Project Engineering professionals in the positions of Principal Project Engineer based in two locations in London. As Principal Project Engineer you will deliver signalling technical excellence on a flagship rail modernisation programmes which includes the installation of cutting edge signalling technologies.

As Principal Project Engineer you will act as technical contact and liaison for clients and sub-contractors in order to resolve technical issues within projects, ensuring the integration of design, installation and testing and to ensure the end product meets the client specification and has technical integrity.

In addition you will act as the CRE and/or CEM on contracts as required and liaise with signalling, telecoms, power, systems and other disciplines to ensure successful project engineering, highlighting any project derogations or temporary non-compliances.

To be considered for the positions of Principal Project Engineers, candidates will ideally hold an IRSE Engineering Manager (6.8.110) license of be close to achieving it or a Project Engineer license 1.2.230. You will ideally be degree educated and will have strong knowledge of signalling design, installation and testing having started your career in one of these disciplines. You will also have current or previous experience leading teams.

In return you will be offered a salary of between £70,000 - £80,000 accompanied with an annual bonus, 25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays, pension with contributions of up to 18% and other associated benefits.
