Project Engineer - Signalling in London, London, United Kingdom
Working on a well known project initially, you be responsible for managing the existing survey works on mainline rail, before delivering the ongoing engineering elements of the project.
The current programme of works will cover London based routes, firstly assessing the requirements on the project and any potential surplus materials across LV, Signalling or Telecoms cabling works, before planning the relevant course of action delivering that with the Principle Contractor. With a 12 month deadline in place, you will naturally progress to working with the team on other projects and manage the engineering process for a number of smaller projects as CP6 continues.
It is vital that you can spread yourself across numerous disciplines and work closely with all stakeholders on the projects. Having a construction background is a benefit, along with the ability to understand technical designs and surveys.
Essential requirements:
- Signalling project engineer experience, ideally installation licensed
- Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of engineering projects.
- Contractor sided experience preferable
- Strong communication skills
- Able to manage your own time and be responsible for your output
- Knowledge of survey and delivery of projects is key
