Job title: Railway Digital Signalling & Control Systems Consultant
Job location: Various (Regional Offices Midlands or South & Client Visits)
Salary: £60-70k DOE + Excellent Benefits including private healthcare and annual performance bonus
Key Responsibilities
You will join a leading rail consultancy to deliver on projects supporting the UK's rail infrastructure owners and control systems manufacturers to roll out the employment of new signalling and control technologies. This includes ERTMs deployment and digital signalling and traffic management upgrades.
In the role you will require advanced systems knowledge for these emerging product bases and will use this to assist client projects within systems, safety, cyber security and asset management alongside stand-alone technology implementation product.
Person Profile
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in a relevant discipline (engineering biased)
Desirable Experience:
*Degree in a relevant Engineering Subject (Electrical / Electronic / Train Control / Signalling / Systems Engineering)
*Detailed knowledge of ERTMs / ETCS
*Experience within obsolesce management & optimisation projects within older signalling/train control systems or experience of deployment of other similar on board train control systems
*Experience from implementing, testing or developing ERTMS/ETCS systems.
