My client has an opportunity for an IRSE Signalling Designers on a contract basis in the Midlands area. As a Signalling Design Engineer you will produce signalling design and apply professional expertise within that design. You will be based in the Midlands and be part of a Signalling Renewal Enhancement project.

Your Key responsibilities will be to :-

Produce Signalling designs as required, confirming that it meets the requirements given in the scope of works and that the operational, technical and safety principles have been met Contribute to the preparation of technical details, specifications and tenders for Signalling projects

Monitor own performance and the progress of own work ensuring that potential variations are highlighted and appropriately managed

Contribute to the planning, programming and monitoring of resources to meet programme and budget requirements and targets

Perform duties as directed by Management from time to time in connection with Signalling design activities

Undertake the role of Lead Engineer on allocated projects

Discharge safety responsibilities in relation to CDM Regulations, Health and Safety legislation and Company procedures

Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members

Qualifications

Relevant HND or HNC Appropriate membership of IRSE

IRSE Signalling Designer Licence (1.1.510)
