The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Signalling Engineer within Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) Expert to join a global engineering firm on the Dubai Metro extension.

Opportunity

My client is working closely with Thales systems especially with the SelTrac product for the Signalling package of this metro project. The purpose of the schemes is to link the site of the 2020 exhibition to the existing metro network hence there is a schedule in place which must be achieved. Away from the region they are involved with many other major projects and are regarded as one of the market leaders within their field.

Job Role / Responsibilities

The successful individual shall be on of the lead authority of CBTC systems for the developments and be required to advice, supervise and management all signalling aspects and their integration into the systems and civils packages. The successful candidate shall be working closely with other package leads to ensure that the project is delivered to specification, time and budget. The role will involve close management of the systems contractor.

Requirements

• Degree qualified, ideally within a Signalling or Engineering subject
• Extensive CBTC signalling experience
• 3 projects of a similar type and scale
• Previous Regional experience

Salary Package

The package for this role shall depend on the level of the individual and shall be tax free (for most nationalities).
