The Civils and Infrastructure Division of Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are seeking an experience Rail Project Engineer who is experienced working at CEM / CRE / DPE level on multidisciplinary rail schemes but with a bias ideally towards UK rail signalling.
The Opportunity

Our client boasts a global presence in the rail industry from the manufacture of rolling stock vehicles to influencing infrastructure upgrades to providing digital technology solutions utilising their extensive R&D department.
Amongst other projects, they are currently leading the signalling enhancement works for the Wales & Western Region and due to the extensive framework, ongoing projects and future pipeline, they require someone to join their team at Senior Project Engineer level to support the Engineering Manager and Project Managers to monitor the overall progress of works and ensure that the various elements of the projects are as required / expected by the customer, Network Rail.

South Wales, Southwest of England, Reading, Oxford
The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer who has experience of working on multidisciplinary railway schemes but who has a bias towards the signalling discipline. Ideally you will have an IRSE license in project engineering, engineering management or design engineering. You will have at least 3 years' experience where you have acted as CEM (Contractors Engineering Manager) or DPE (Designated Project Engineer) on railway signalling projects in the UK. Other disciplines that may be considered would be Civils, Telecoms or Electrification. You will be required to have at least 10 years of experience in the UK rail sector.
