Tester in Charge in United Kingdom
An excellent opportunity to work with a growing signalling organisation, based in the South of England, for a Tester in Charge to join them and deliver some challenging, secured contracts. Working under a Head of Test you will have be tasked to prepare and deliver the test plan for multiple projects on the mainline rail network, with projects due to begin in early 2018.
In the role of TIC, you will work closely with the delivery and installation team, overseeing the program to ensure successful completion and hand-back on a number of contracts. With a strong and established business supporting you in the background, you will have the chance to really develop the role and drive it as you see fit. Close interaction with the client is a key part of the role as you grow the companies reputation through your performance.
Due to the nature of the works you will be able to deliver this role by working from home for a large proportion of the contract.
To succeed in this position it is essential that you have the following experience and attributes:
- Experience of producing a test plan, and delivering it successfully
- Relevant signalling testing licence
- Certificate of Competence, with a minimum of minor works competence
- Thorough knowledge of the NR rules and regulations
- In depth signalling knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build succesful client relationships
