We're currently looking for a Project Agent who's looking to progress their skillset. This company was formed following confirmation of the award of Southern Water's Sewerage React and Maintain Operational Partner contract.
The Project Agent will report to the Planned Works Manager and is responsible for working within our Southern Water framework (Kent/Sussex East & Hampshire/Sussex West) managing a portfolio of projects on the ground to deliver commercially successful, safely executed quality projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced minor works Project Supervisor looking to progress into a management position. The role supports a workforce both direct and subcontract and will suit someone who works well as part of a team but can also work independently, thinking through issues and making informed decisions.
You would need experience of managing service delivery partner's site activities and undertaking associated stakeholder interaction. The role will require flexibility of hours, especially when planning larger projects requiring stakeholder interface and site meetings. Experience in programme management to deliver works on time and budget; positive and proactive attitude to SHEQ and capable of delivering detailed project reports. As well as proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and experience in working with service providers and sub-contractors. Essential criteria of current UK Driving License and IOSH Site supervision.
The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. They will co-ordinate with other internal departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will deliver the right outcome for all.
