Senior Engineer/Sub Agent in City of London, Essex, United Kingdom
I have a great opportunity for a Senior Engineer/Sub Agent to work with a fast growing Tier 2 contractor in London. This company is a specialist in the rail industry mainly dealing with Civil, Structural and Rail systems works.
As Senior Engineer/Sub Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Managing Engineering Activities
- Sub Contractors & Engineers
- Client Meetings
- Writing and reviewing method statements, risk assessments
- Quality control and quality checks, ensure work is carried out to specification
- Ensure smooth and quality handover to day shift teams
Requirements:
Essential:
- Degree (or equivalent) qualified in Civil Engineering
- Experience working for main contractors on large (£100M) infrastructure projects
- Experience of civils (excavations, piling, RC frame, slabs and walls)
- Experience managing both direct labour teams, as well as sub-contractors.
Desirable:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE) or pursuing Chartership
