The Role

As Site Agent, you play an integral role supporting the project delivery and management of a prestigious highways scheme, involving new roundabouts and bridge structures over rail, road and water.

Key Skills / Experience

• Highways Structures experience ideally within a main contractor environment
• HNC (or equivalent) in civil engineering
• Happy to be based in the Lincolnshire area.

Duties

• Ensure daily H&S team briefings are carried out in line with risk assessments and method statements.
• Collaboratively work with sub-contractors, foremen, safety advisors, planning, commercial team and supply chain involved with project.
• Reporting the progress and performance of the project to clients and company directors.
• Attending and implementing weekly and monthly site meetings.
• Working with the client to develop value engineered solutions to consistently reduce costs.
• Liaison with internal and external customers, and to give technical advice and guidance.
• Review costs weekly with the commercial team.
• Working with QS to ensure all value and risk to the project is captured.
• Accountable for operational and administrative aspects of health & safety, quality and the environment in accordance with the business management system.
• Identifying areas for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships internally, with the client and the supply chain
