An excellent opportunity to join a leading rail contractor as they make a start on their heavy workload in the South East!

THE COMPANY

Our client is dominant in the rail infrastructure market, having operated on multi-disciplinary projects within this sector for over 20 years, and are now venturing into new engineering markets. Their outstanding quality of project delivery has enabled them to become a contractor of choice, thriving in what could be perceived as a ‘quiet’ rail market in recent years.

Due to increased works in the South East, they’re looking for an experienced Site Agent to join the growing team to cover projects within the M25 circle!

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re the Site Agent I’m looking for if you have experience working on rail civils projects at Site Agent level and have an excellent attitude to project delivery and leading a team. It is imperative that you have excellent communication skills, supported by a wealth of rail industry knowledge and can keep a team on-site motivated to work and complete the project to the best of your ability.

In this role you will be solely responsible for the delivery of this project while reporting into the Project Manager, so you must be someone who’s confident in their abilities to lead a team by yourself. Is this person you?

ABOUT THE JOB

As an experienced Site Agent, you will understand that it is crucial to keep the team motivated throughout the project, whilst ensuring quality and H+S standards are always adhered to. The projects you will be involved in consist initially of depot refurbishments within the M25 circle however moving forward, you could be involved in a variety of schemes!

The key difference in this role is you are quite simply, the maker of your own success, so the better the results you generate, the quicker you’ll climb the ladder in the business!

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role, you must have experience at Site Agent level working on civil engineering projects, ideally within the rail sector. You must also have a HNC/HND/Degree in civil engineering (non-negotiable).

PACKAGE

My client is offering the right candidate a competitive basic salary upwards of £45k depending on your experience, a company car or car allowance, plus a fantastic benefits package on top!
