Site Agent in Rugby, Rugby, Warwickshire, England, United Kingdom
Site Agent
Rugby
A once in a lifetime opportunity for a Site Agent to join a leading and thriving contractor as part of their highways division, with a full order book for the foreseeable future - the sky is the limit to your career progression within this well-respected team!
THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading construction contractor, with a compelling reputation for successfully delivering building and infrastructure works across the UK with a turnover of over £2.5 billion. They boast a heavy presence within construction operating across both the public and private sector, and with their successes have managed to increase their pipeline within infrastructure.
This is an exciting time to join this company as they make a start on their every-growing highways order book, and are looking for a Site Agent to join the team, leading a project in Rugby!
THE ROLE
As an experienced Site Agent, you are going to be performing an integral role as part of a core team, undertaking all supervisory duties including H&S, day to day construction processes, coordination of the team and sub-contractors, building relationships with all parties involved, advocate for staff training and needs, budgetary control, and above all delivering projects within time, budget and quality standards.
Although, already being a top-notch Site Agent, you'd already know that! What's really going to wet your whistle will be project information, right? You will be number one on site for a large residential build development leading the civils and infrastructure work valued at £15m. This will include access roads and road construction plus some involvement with the utilities network on the development, allowing you to broaden your highways build experience!
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
So, I bet you're wondering if you're the Site Agent I'm looking for? From an experience perspective, you will need to have experience working on highways build projects - bridges, roundabouts, access roads, anything! You can have any highways construction experience given you are familiar with the challenges faced when creating new roads and can tackle any challenge face on.
Culture fit is just as important for my client as they look to continue to dominate the highways sector in the Midlands. They need people in the team who are dedicated to the project - and the company - and motivated by career development, so if you're an Agent looking to stay at this level, this isn't the opportunity for you.
REQUIREMENTS
To be the Site Agent I'm looking for, you'll need a HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering and experience of highways build projects with a main contractor.
PACKAGE
My client is offering the right candidate a basic salary of £45-£50k, plus a generous package including car or car allowance, pension, 28 days' holiday (+ bank) and much more!
