Site Agent

Paying between £275-£325 a day

Location: South West London

Contract length ongoing

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Agent, with experience working within a civil engineering environment with hard landscaping. The successful Site Agent will be proactive and take a hands on approach where necessary. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Agent to extend their skillset with a well-established company with an excellent reputation in the market working on major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for the day to day running of construction sites.
• Responsible for day to day implementation of HSQE procedures and ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the method statement, risk assessments and other applicable project documentation.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Project Specific Procedures and Inspection & Test Plans.
• Ensuring quality of work is to the required standards & approved.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company & project specific environmental policies and procedures.
• Ensuring a weekly diary is completed and forwarded to commercial department.
• Delivery of Site Inspections and Site Briefings
• Completing materials and plant requisitions, ensuring plant is regularly audited and off hired at the appropriate time.
• Coordinating labour & subcontractor's timesheets. Requesting labour using requisition form, allocation of work, monitoring progress and quality of work, checking of timesheets / allocation sheets, signing off & liaising with labour supply supervisors

Requirements:

• Years of hard landscaping projects
• Hard landscaping along a live carriageway
• Ideally with a relevant degree
• Site cost/value control
• Organising plant and materials
• Supervising labour
• Health and safety management
