Are you a Tunnelling Site Agent looking for your next challenge? Are you proficient in verticle drilling? Are you available for a long term contract in North Yorkshire on a flagship project?
Our client are a tunnelling specialist who are working on a huge project in the Whitby area and looking for an experienced Tunnelling Site Agent. The works are vertical drilling, shaft sinking and related preparatory civils works.
The location of the site means that the client are providing free accomodation, meals and transfers for all staff working on site.
The role will include the following:
- Site Supervision of the vertical drilling
- Daily site reports, management reports
- Building of site teams and managing staffing levels on site
- Attending management meetings and updating the client, main contractor and stakeholders on progress
- Management of Engineers, foremen and production staff on site
- Management of health and safety on site, ensuring that all workers have the information to perform their roles and safely and efficiently
- Running toolbox talks and site inductions
The successful candidate will have:
- SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS card and any other relevant certification
- Extensive experience in tunnelling contracts
- Experience working with herrenknecht vertical shaft machine
- A desire to push a contract forward and get a team working to the top of their ability
