THE CLIENT

We are working alongside an industry leader in the rail sector with a proven track record of delivering projects to top clients such as Network Rail and London Underground, and have been identified as a high-performance company with an excellent partnership with their stakeholders and their clients.

Our client is dedicated on building on their solid reputation of successful delivery which has secured significant new work, and are looking for an experienced, driven Sub Agent to step up to the plate for their specialist rail division in the West Midlands!

ABOUT THE JOB

As the go-to Engineer on site, you will be responsible for assisting with managing all aspects on-site, focussing on the technical aspect of the projects. The project will include track work, level crossing upgrades and line speed improvements across 2 sites, with scope to increase. You will be working reporting to the Project Manager and be responsible for helping writing task briefs, WPPs, ensuring health and safety compliance on site – essentially supporting the PM and other Site Agents on the framework to deliver the project with 100% accuracy.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Multi-disciplinary rail civils project experience is compulsory
  • Experience managing a team on site (Construction Manager, Senior Engineer, Site Agent etc.)
  • HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering – essential
  • Experience acting as CRE

PACKAGE

  • Salary depending on experience
