THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading structural and civils contractor, working at Tier 2 level supplying specialist services to Tier 1s across several industries. They boast a heavy presence within highways and rail and are dedicated to building on their strong reputation for providing excellent structural maintenance services.

This is an exciting time to join this company as they commence works on their recent framework awards, and so are looking for a Sub Agent to join the ever-growing team!

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re the Sub Agent I’m looking for if you have experience working on civils projects at Sub Agent level and have an excellent attitude to project delivery and leading a team. It is imperative that you have excellent communication skills, supported by a wealth of civil engineering industry knowledge and can keep a team on-site motivated to work and complete the project to the best of your ability. ABOUT THE JOB

As an experienced Sub Agent, you will understand that it is crucial to keep the team motivated throughout the project, whilst ensuring quality and H+S standards are always adhered to. With the company being structural specialists, all your works will involve refurbishments and maintenance of structures across areas 14 and 15 for Highways England, so be prepared to travel to site!

The projects could be anything from a couple of weeks to 6 months - maybe even longer - but there’s plenty in the pot to keep you busy for the next 5 years. It’s an incredibly exciting time to join this company as they strive for further growth, so this is an opportunity you should not miss out on!

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role, you must have experience either already at Sub Agent level, or Site Manager/Senior Engineer working on structural civil engineering projects. You must also hold a HNC/HND/Degree in civil engineering.

PACKAGE

My client is offering a competitive basic salary of £36k - £44k depending on your experience, plus a car or car allowance and all the bells and whistles to be expected from a company of this size.
