THE PROJECT

My client is one of the main contractors, with sign off to bid on both lots on the framework (up to £5m and £25m). My client is supporting the partnership by bidding on projects from both lots, collectively worth over £240m in the next 4 years. With some of the projects and maintenance being carried out by singular and/or JV’s with other contractors, Projects you are likely be involved in are relief roads, junction widening, Bridge and Roundabout installs etc.

THE ROLE

As a Sub Agent, you are going to be performing an integral role as part of a core team, undertaking all supervisory duties including H&S, day to day construction processes, coordination of the team and sub-contractors, building relationships with all parties involved, advocate for staff training and needs, budgetary control, pre-construction through to hand over and overall maintaining/maximising quality of service and profitability within the projects to deliver best value.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re the Sub Agent I want to hear from, if you love working for the main contractor overseeing prestigious but challenging projects in a fast-paced environment. You’re going to need to have strong stakeholder management skills and can react to problems in a methodical and proactive way. Able to manage an infrastructure delivery team with an insight/experience into inputs for applicable paperwork

REQUIREMENTS

My client is looking for a Sub Agent who has a qualification of HNC/Degree or above in Civil Engineering, Site Management experience with a Tier 1 contractor in infrastructure (roads, highways-preferable), motivated to be part of a successful team where opportunities to develop in your career will be available through the growth of the sector. Proven ability to manage, inspire/motivate and deliver! SMSTS, NRSWA, ideally looking for chartered or wanting chartership

Permanent position: up to £42,000 DOE + car/car allowance + Package
