A known rail civils engineering contractor is massively engaged in a series of fundamental installations and is needing experienced, professional and detailed PTS Senior Site Engineer to ensure the quality and credulity of site Survey and Setting-out requirements to be based in London.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Snr Project Engineer, you the PTS Snr Site Engineer will be responsible to carry out, monitoring, leading and managing site survey and Setting-out requirements using Totalstation, GPS, EDM etc. You will be accountable for ensuring the quality control regards to the effective and accurate Sitting-out and Surveys undertaken.

As the PTS Snr Site Engineer, you will be accountable for ensuring the production of daily surveys and associated reports. You will need to attend project progress meetings and assist in the production of progress reports together assisting with the planning of further Setting-out and site survey requirements.

The appointed PTS Site Engineer will need to possess the following:

• Strong Setting-out and site survey experience / skills, able to accurately operate Totalstation, Leica and GPS (TS15/16)
• Experience of setting-out for rail civil installations; Piling, Bases and Foundations and Bridge work, as well as looking at Drainage and Track formation.
• Ability to effectively read and interoperate technical drawings and produce creditable and accurate reports on a daily basis and competently record and complete Inspection Test Plans
• Will possesses a strong working application of UK Rail Engineering, Policies and Procedures and a PTS
• Delivery focused, committed and delivery proud!
