THE COMPANY

My client are market leaders within the highways civil engineering sector, having renowned success across a variety of schemes with UK-wide coverage. They are part of a wider construction company with a group turnover just shy of £1billion, with their civils division in the UK growing at a phenomenal rate.

Due to significant wins on a large-scale scheme in the Cambridge area, they are seeking a Site Engineer to join the team to deliver the works!

THE ROLE

As an experienced Site Engineer, you are going to be performing an integral role as part of a core team, having an input with supporting the paperwork on site including WPPs, task briefs, ITPs however your main responsibility will include setting out, site diaries and day-to-day delivery of the scheme.

Although, already being a top-notch Site Engineer, you’d already know that! What’s really going to wet your whistle will be project information, right? You will be working directly with the Sub Agent on a large-scale multi-disciplinary civils scheme valued at £49m as part of a wider project. The packages in work will vary from road construction and structures to remediation works and drainage – and everything in between!

This project is a prime example of the exciting schemes you can work on whilst enhancing your career – the bulk of the work thereafter will be around the London and Home Counties area, so you must be within a commutable distance.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

So, I bet you’re wondering if you’re the candidate I’m looking for? From an experience perspective, you will need to have experience working on highways build projects – bridges, roundabouts, access roads, anything! You can have any highways construction experience given you are familiar with the challenges faced when creating new roads and can tackle any challenge face on.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

To be considered for this role, you must have some experience within highways as a Site Engineer. You will also need a minimum of HNC in Civil Engineering.

PACKAGE

My client is offering a top-notch candidate a generous salary up to £35k depending on your experience, plus car or car allowance, 26 days holiday (+ bank holiday) and more.
