A position has become available to join one of the UK's largest Industrial companies as a Site Services Engineer.

What the role involves:
- Monitor and control productivity through "times on jobs"
- Ensure the adoption of workshop "best practice" and that spares are correctly sourced for individual jobs through the team
- Responsible for the efficient control and progress of individual jobs
- Ensure that the customers are informed of delivery dates and that they are promptly informed of problems that develop through the team
- Take a direct hands on involvement in major repairs and contracts
- Develop sound customer relationships
- Ensure the call out system effectively supports the customer's needs
- Monitor and develop the site team skills profile and identify / develop individual ability and aptitude.
- Identify new opportunities for the development of services
- Ensure the implementation of systems and process improvements
- Ensure the quality and integrity of individual jobs
- Ensure the compliance to quality standards and systems
- Ensure safe working practices to Health, Safety and environmental legislation
- Ensure the security of all plant and equipment
Requirements:
- Essential Career Experience
- Capability to understand EMS business model and commercial contract with Customer
- Sales and customer relationship development skills
- Negotiation skills at multiple levels within customer and supplier organisations
- Communication and inter-personal skills
- Margin management
- Ability to develop and negotiate new sources of supply
- Motivational skills
- Coaching and mentoring of team members
- Understanding of, and ability to effectively action disciplinary procedures
- Understanding of, and ability to effectively action Health and Safety principles and procedures
- Ability to manage the site administrative workflow, setting individual tasks and ensuring team members have the necessary skills/training to achieve the required output
- Knowledge of some or all categories of Maintenance, Repair and Operational product and service range
- Ability to identify, justify and deliver engineering benefit savings
- Ability to effectively manage sales, margin and customer price savings to achieve or exceed site contract profitability
- Ability to identify, justify and deliver optimised stock levels within overall contract commitments
- Management of Site overheads to ensure overall contract profitability
- Ability to develop and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
