An opportunity has arisen for a Bid Manager to work on UK bids within Rail for a fast paced principal contractor in South Yorkshire. Suitable for a Novice Bid Manager / Project Manager wanting to make the step in to Bid Management.
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- At least 5 years experience dealing with Bids / Tender
- Strong PQQ experience
- Experience of proposals / bidding in highly regulated environments
- A high level of competence with Microsoft Office Suite, excellent PowerPoint
- Previous experience in a bidding role delivering successful multi million pounds bids in the rail sector
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you:
- Are educated to degree level
Role Information;
You would be taking responsibility for a wide range of tasks required from the earliest identification of project opportunities, informing the business of the latest market information & helping to define the winning strategy, through to successful tender submission & contract signature. Your role will include supporting business development in winning business by developing & managing capture plans.
