We are currently looking for a Bid Manager who has a good understanding of the UK District Heating market, the current legislation and UK Government incentives. As the Bid Manager you will own and manage the District Heating bid creation from start to the point of submission. Therefore you would need to be competent and experience in technical engineering, stakeholder management and project management. Given the engineering experience that is required by the role, you will expected to review design, present and clearly articulate technical specifications within tenders, produce commercial models and reports for presentation to customers.
Successful candidates would need a successful track record in tender bid submissions that demonstrate bid wins in heat networks. You would also need some form of engineering degree with practical experience of district heating, CHP and Energy centre design/operation.
