Campaign Manager
To assist the Senior Campaign Manager in the safe delivery of projects to achieve safety, cost, time and quality objectives within corporate guidelines and to develop appropriate delivery and supply strategies and plans for specific projects.
Assist with Senior Campaign Manager in the engineering and project development, of all allocated schemes so that they comply with the requirements of the Governance of Railway Investment Projects (GRIP4Track), relevant standard and regulatory obligations.
Key Accountabilities & Objectives
Manage PACE (G4T) process. Collaborate with HO assurance engineers towards timely submission of product completion in compliance with PACE/Grip4Track process. With the assistance of the PMA, coordinate the transfer of information and documents between HO Delivery teams and acting Project Interface Coordinator on behalf of appropriate Maintenance Delivery Units.
Creation & ownership of project box-plans that reflect the availability of resources and materials across the national High Output Team and that enable safe and efficient delivery of the works
Manage long term work strategies. collaborate with Development, Delivery and Planning Teams to understand and secure possessions, worksites and Isolation requirements. Work with planning teams to propose and confirm train requirements including consist and train pathing arrangements. CONFIRM ROUTE IS GAUGE CLEAR
Management of works overviews and other project documentation to demonstrate a concise programme of works through the preparation and delivery of detailed hand-over packs
Continuously relay plans, change and proposals to the Programme Controls Team for real time P6 update
Engage with design teams to ensure they have all up to date plans – Request and maintain a design programme in line with HO works.
Collaborate with commercial teams to prepare / coordinate bottom-up costs against the latest prep, core and follow up works plans using specified costing tools in readiness for timely authority submission
Prepare and chair key meetings with sponsors, delivery teams and support functions in line with PACE
Comply with the requirements of industry legislation (CDM), standards and client specifications to deliver each campaign.
Undertake appropriate liaison with the Network Rail Asset Maintenance organisation during the design and prepare phase, where the project works will/ may affect maintained assets and deliver projects compliant with the IP-Track Asset Management Plan.
Work with the delivery team to identify and agree planned and unplanned works.
Own and actively update the Risk Register - Identify risks for escalation that may result in programme change and/or cost variation. Manage Risk and Change via registers and report them to the project team, aiding with solutions and valuation of these cost variations.

Identify areas where a ‘continuous improvement’ approach to construction management could bring benefit, and provide background information, costs and benefits to enable the best practices to be effectively disseminated.
