Are you a civils site manager looking to get on the next major, landmark London project? Do you have experience of managing tunnelling projects and marine construction projects? Are you looking for a client-side role
If so, our client has the role for you, as a Site Manager, based in Central London overseeing construction works for a major civil engineering project. This is an initial 1 year contract, whilst you will be on this project in its early construction phases.
Duties will include supervising the contractors work on site, reviewing construction documentation, support the development of processes and procedures, ensuring health & safety performance is maintained, provide audit to ensure contractor schedule, quality of work and budget are met, be responsible for overall work progress and performance for your assigned area and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, plus other associated tasks.
Successful candidate will have experience of delivering major construction projects, ideally in tunnelling or water infrastructure, with some knowledge and experience of marine works including piling, lifting operations over water and jack-up barges. A degree in a relevant construction management or engineering subject area and membership of a professional body would be desirable. Familiarity of working to NEC3 contracts would also be required.
