Our engineering services business is looking for a Delivery Manager to join the team in London to provide the MEP Project Manager and wider team support and ensure that the works on one of our Major Projects is conducted in a safe and efficient manner throughout.

You'll look at

* Ensuring all works are completed in line with the companies policies, to the drawings and specifications
* Co-ordination of the electrical and mechanical contractors, including any specialist sub-contractors. There are a team of Construction managers also assigned to each subcontractor.
* Completing all necessary paperwork i.e risk assessment, detailed site diaries, site reports, programme reports.
* Record general correspondence with the client, contractor, design and co-ordination teams.
* Ensuring Health and Safety standards are maintained at all times including liaising with our Health and Safety manager from pre-construction through to handover.
* Attend/Chairing internal meetings related to works being undertake.
* Overseeing the performance of the subcontractor personnel and be responsible for ensuring that all work in completed on schedule and within budget. Removing impediments such as builderswork and obstructions on site to ensure the supply chain achieve their productivity levels.
* Contributing to design reviews to ensure the services can installed
* Inspecting and snag the subcontractors works
* Handover of the subcontractors works, upon completion, to follow on trades such as CCTV, data and fire contractors
* Building relationships with the clients site team involved in the project and ensure that effective team communication and cooperation for successful project completion.
* Managing the free issue of materials and equipment. To be recorded on handover forms.

Were looking for:
* SMSTS and Valid ECS/CSCS required.
* Confident in MS Office.
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills - both written and oral and quickly able to build strong working relationships with people at all levels.
* Electrical industry qualification
* Excellent problems solving skills
* Self-motivated and a high level of professionalism
* The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at the same time
* PTS would be desirable
