We have a rare long-term contract opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a large nuclear decommissioning project, based in Gloucestershire. This role is a 4 day week, contracting into 2020.
This role will have a more Facilities Management/Asset Management bias, so any relevant experience working on protecting and maintaining key nuclear assets would be desirable for this position. The role will incorporate actively contributing to project execution plans, nuclear HSE responsibilities, technical assessments, method statements, technical supervision of contractors plus other associated duties.
Successful candidate will have relevant engineering qualifications to HND or NQF level 5/6 or above. Membership of a relevant institute will be desirable, as would chartered engineer status.
Experience of working in a nuclear environment would be essential for this position. This role will also require security clearance to be obtained before commencement.
