Facilities Manager – Adult Education Centre – London
Are you an experienced Facilities Manager looking for that special opportunity to be the figurehead of a contract, working in genuine partnership with your customer? ATA Recruitment is looking for someone to lead both Hard and Soft FM service delivery for our client’s key London customer, through the heart of its current contract and beyond.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a proven Facilities Manager who has experience in preparing, managing and maintaining buildings for day to day operations, meeting contractual obligations. This will include both Hard and Soft services, directly employed personnel and sub-contractors in facilities seeing high volumes of footfall (staff and visitors) You will be minimum IOSH qualified, ideally a member of BIFM and able to obtain DBS clearance to work with children and / or vulnerable adults.
The Role
The Facilities Manager is responsible for a large adult education centre in the heart of London which provides daily short courses and qualifications across a range of disciplines. As Facilities Manager you will be ultimately responsible for ensuring the site is clean, safe and fit for purpose, working closely with your client to provide an excellent experience for all staff, visitors and delegates on site.
This will involve managing a team of your own, as well as sub-contractors for cleaning, security and waste management in delivering day to day scheduled and reactive services on site. As part of a long-term contract you will also be responsible for planning future schedules, reviewing and developing services / suppliers to ensure successful and profitable delivery of the facilities management contract.
The Salary
A basic salary of circa £40k is available subject to experience, with car / allowance in addition. Further ‘big company’ benefits are also provided in line with our clients’ standing as a FTSE 250 business
