Job Responsibilities:
- Managing the Construction / interface / integration elements of the procurement process.
- Managing contract interfaces on site and coordinating across contracts with other Construction / interface / integration Managers.
- Keeping the Project Manager informed of contract and site progress and performance.
- Communicating with and instructing contractors in accordance with the Works Contracts Administration Procedures on behalf of the Project Manager, through specialist contract administrator, using the project administration software.
- Developing relations with local community with support from the Clients Integrated Team stakeholder liaison office.
- Supervising and leading the Clients Integrated Team site teams.
- Maintaining contract performance against project milestones, KPIs, programme, budget and other established metrics.
- Managing the contract through all stages from award, mobilisation, production, start-up, commissioning, snagging, take over and closeout.
- Providing constructability / interface / integration input to design.
- Establishing key relationships between the Client Integrated Team and contractor senior management.
- Establishing relationships with the Contractors on a Quality basis.
- Monitoring the Work Programme and notifying the Client and external organisations of activities and interventions.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree qualification, applicable to scope of work, or equivalent experience.
- Experience of managing the construction of significant value packages of work on a major infrastructure project.
- Knowledge and experience of construction quality systems and processes.
- Knowledge of project controls processes.
- Experience of managing interface / integration in the latter stages of delivery of a mega station(s) or airport terminal project.
