An excellent opportunity for a Business Improvement Co-ordinator or Office Manager to join a thriving highways contractor, as they make a start delivering a prestigious motorways scheme in Northamptonshire!
THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading construction contractor, with a compelling reputation for successfully delivering building and infrastructure works across the UK with a turnover of over £2.5 billion. They boast a heavy presence within construction operating across both the public and private sector, and with their successes have managed to increase their pipeline within infrastructure.
This is an exciting time to join this company as they make a start on their every-growing highways order book and are looking for an Office Manager focussing on KPIs and business improvement to join the team based on-site in Northampton!
IDEAL CANDIDATE
So, this role is a bit weird and wonderful as you will be spinning many plates, running the day-to-day office function on the project whilst also managing and acting on relevant KPIs throughout the duration of the scheme. Obviously, you will need to be organised, have a strong eye for detail and also, not be afraid to have difficult conversations when the KPIs aren’t being met, with supporting evidence and possible resolutions to challenges faced. ABOUT THE JOB
Your role will be crucial in the delivery of this flagship highways scheme as you will be fully responsible for full project administration, liaising with suppliers (e.g. designers, stakeholders) as well as the internal team for necessary paperwork/evidence, providing frequent project reports to relevant business units, and general KPI management - and everything in between.
This role is largely focussed on the performance improvement side of office management and so you must have a very analytical and methodical mindset – are you up for the challenge?
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, you must have experience in a Business Improvement, Office Management or KPI Co-ordinator role (or similar) within civil engineering or construction.
PACKAGE
My client is offering the Grade-A candidate a basic salary up to £30k plus a generous package including pension, holidays and much more.
