Samuel Knight Rail have an exciting position with one of our clients based in London - we are seeking a candidate to be employed at a freight yard in North London. This is a full time, permanent role, with a client who want to invest in staff and help them progress in their careers.

We are seeking a POS Manager on a permanent basis, maintain compliance standards with RISQS, On Track POS , through ensuring that all site staff involved in the project are competent. This will include managing the planning & maintenance of OTP operations and where necessary assigning competent team members.

Any succesful candidate will have an awareness of the health and safety regulations of the Rail industry, and hold experience in the area of track renewals, civils & construction. As a focal point of the team, you will be approachable, dedicated to delivery and prepared to take accountability.

Specific Skills & qualities:

• Very good administrative skills
• Hold PTS
• Have a complete knowledge of health and safety regulations including NR/L2/RMVP/0200/ module P521, competency requirements and fatigue management
• Full awareness of health and safety rules and regulations, including NR/L2/RMVP/0200/module P521, competency requirements and fatigue management
• Experience of working with RRVs
• Experience of Track Renewals, Civil Engineering and Construction projects
• Understanding of possession works
• Knowledge of project planning and the planning cycle
