Responsible for:
- To deliver consistent and reliable performance across the project
- Deliver within budget; maintain control of project scope; cost control; maximise profit margin on project
- To be rigorous in challenging all aspects of our cost base ensuring the project is efficient and cost effective in delivery
- To develop and implement solutions through the procurement of goods and services to support both the project objectives
- Support the development and execution of the Project Supply Chain Strategy
- Develop, own and maintain a supply chain network, ensure suppliers are accredited
- Invitation to Tender: Prepare packages, facilitating and driving the preparation of a robust, complete set of documentation through the entire project team including designers
- Facilitate the preparation and execution of robust and complete Sub-Contract / Contractual documentation utilising the project team as required
- Collaborate with the Project team to ensure the successful delivery of the procurement on the project
- Upholds and promotes the values of the Alliance
- Works with senior Alliance management to successfully deliver the procurement strategy
- Promotes the use of the Alliances Quality, Sustainability, SME and local community agenda.
Requirements:
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS)
- Continued Professional Development and / or equivalent experience
- Experience in multiple sectors of construction procurement e.g. rail, civil, utilities
- Managed at least two supplier agreements in relation to cost, quality, standardisation, waste etc.
- Managed at least two preferred supplier agreements in relation to performance, cost, quality etc.
- Implemented procurement plans using a wide variety of contract types
- Is capable of putting any type of group agreement together
