Duites:

• Define RAMS requirements

• Assess and control risks to RAMS

• Plan and implement RAMS tasks

• Carry out RAMS modelling, prediction and demonstration

• Carry out ongoing monitoring of compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Analyse and monitor relevant regulatory standards and requirements

• Be a key contributor to defining project requirements, providing knowledge from a RAMS and regulatory perspective

• Work cooperatively with other engineers to ensure the minimization of project risks and the achievement of compliance with RAMS requirements

• They will follow established RAMS Engineering practices and processes throughout the Project Lifecycle delivering the required outcomes for quality, cost and schedule.

• Analyse, and monitor all technological and functionality regulatory standards and requirements

• Manage project safety assurance activities across multiple projects and provide safety assurance advice to both the projects and the Systems Assurance Manager

• Identify and manage the risks on the projects using your analytical skills and produce safety assurance reports and documentation to ensure the project's risks are managed

• Key contributor to project requirements, providing substantial knowledge from a safety and regulatory perspective

• Cooperation with other engineers in ensuring the minimization of project risks

To Be Considered

• 8 years experience within the rail transport industry

• Worked to CENELEC EN 50126, EN 50128 and EN 50129

• Has strong exposure to working on ETCS or ETCS projects

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science or Mathematic

• Hands on Manager

• Genuine interest in living and working in Australia
