We are currently recruiting for a Risk Manager to work on the prestigious £1.6 billion A303 Stonehenge project. This project is to meet the future needs of traffic in the South West of England by improving the infrastructure and highways around Stonehenge in order to help preserve and sustain the World Heritage Site and make it easier and safer to explore. As Risk Manager you will be the principal point of contact regarding risk management delivery and opportunity management.
As Risk Manager Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
*To manage the project risk management framework and ensuring a consistent approach to identifying, assessing, mitigating, recording and reporting risk exposure throughout the project lifecycle.
*To provide risk assurance to the Project Manager/Director that appropriate plans are in place to mitigate risks and exploit opportunity to ensure that the project delivers on time, to cost and that business case benefits will be delivered,
*Deploying and continuously improving the effectiveness of risk management processes, systems, tools and techniques.
*Identify and deploy resources to deliver risk management activities
*Monitor performance across the project risk management framework to assure the scope and depth of risk reviews and to ensure the consistent capture and assessment of cost and schedule risk
*Provide risk reporting and analysis at the Project /Programme level and other senior stakeholders in Finance, Cost Estimating and Commercial & Procurement for decision making purposes.
*Ensuring that there is robust management of risks, issues and opportunities at a project level.
Your Experience:
*Experience of working in a complex programme/project environment (preferably highways/infrastructure projects) and identifying, reviewing, developing and implementing risk, opportunity and value management plans
*Experience of change programmes specific to embedding and maintaining Risk management processes, tools, systems and people capability
*Experience of capturing, analysing and reporting quantitative and qualitative risk management data both at a project and programme level
*Experience of training or coaching others to help develop risk management knowledge and skills and implement industry best practice risk management tools and techniques
*Demonstrable experience of delivering project outcomes through engaging, capturing, analysing and reporting quantitative and qualitative risk management data both at a project/programme level
Your Skills:
*Skilled in quantitative and qualitative cost and time risk analysis (QSRA & QCRA)
*Skilled and experienced in Project and Programme Management methodology and techniques (APM, PRINCE2, MSP)
*Thorough understanding of risk and opportunity management best practices
*A degree in a relevant subject with professional accreditation to the risk management profession
*Ability to engage and work in partnership to positively influence internal and external key stakeholders and skilled at issue and conflict resolution
*Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivery
