Job Title:
Senior Environmental Advisor also interested in Environmental Managers

Salary/Benefits:
£45,000 - £55,000 plus car allowance and package

Company Information:
Working on a Large Major Civil Engineering project for a Tier 1 Rail, Civils and Power Contractor worth £1.9bn
To be suitable for the position you must have;
-4-5 years experience in an Environmental Advisory position
-A proven track record of working on large civils schemes, either within rail infrastructure., heavy civils, tunneling, earthworks, highways etc.
-Solid understanding of the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard
-Membership to IEMA (MIEMA / FIEMA Desired)
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
-NEBOSH Environmental
-NEBOSH General
-Environmental Degree or similar.
Role Information;
-Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans
-Lead the implementation of environmental policies and practices
-Carry out impact assessments to identify and reduce an organisation's environmental risks and costs
-Promote and raise awareness of the impact of emerging environmental issues
-Develop and implement environmental management system, ISO 14001
-Write environmental reports, assuming the lead responsibility with the company
-Set organisational sustainability targets, and develop plans to meet targets and oversee their delivery
