ATA Recruitment currently have an opportunity for an Experienced Civils Site Manager for a long-term contract with our client working on the AMP6 Water Framework covering East Sussex and Kent.

Our client is responsible for delivery of maintenance and improvement schemes at water supply and wastewater treatment works on a five-year framework which will run until 2020.

This ongoing Civils Site Manager role will report into the remote Project Manager and will be responsible for the delivery of this £3.5 million Water Project by driving works progress in accordance with the contract programme, to the best commercial advantage without compromising Health & Safety.

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, train and mentor site team
• Cost Management
• Ensure project handover is completed to the required timescales & delivery milestones
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety
• Develop a culture of safety on throughout the team
• Keep a full and accurate daily site diary, including any changes / variations, subcontractors’ attendance
• Requisitioning resources in a timely manner to ensure that they are correctly specified and readily available so as not to impede the construction programme

Qualifications

• Understand the principles of water and sewage treatment
• Have previous experience within a similar role
• Experience in delivery of Civils works within Water Treatment
• CSCS Black Card
• SMSTS
• First Aid 3 day
• Experience with Reinforced Concrete Structures

Rate - Dependent on experience £270 - £290 per day

Duration - Ongoing – initial contract of 12 months
