You will be instrumental in managing all aspects on-site for a leading multi-disciplinary rail contractor in the UK.

Our client is uniquely positioned in the rail industry as they work as both a Principal Contractor and Subcontractor and are continually winning new work across the UK, resulting in them now seeking a Site Manager to join their specialist UK rail division!

They are committed to fulfilling their vision of sustaining healthy growth by constantly increasing the volume of projects they are working on in both principal and subcontractor statuses to maintain their strong relationships with their Tier 1 clients.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re the Site Manager I’m looking for if you can demonstrate experience managing construction projects and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Our client’s ethos is all around building and maintaining strong relationships both internally in the company and with clients, so it is crucial that you match this to drive the company – and yourself – to further success!

ABOUT THE JOB

You will be at the forefront of site management within this role and will be responsible for running several modification projects across the UK in the rail sector. You will work as the main cog in the wheel on-site by writing work package plans, task briefs and method statements; managing health and safety, attending meetings with senior management – as well as the client – whilst also looking after your own team of engineers, supervisors and general labour staff. REQUIREMENTS

You’re the Site Manager I’m looking for if you can demonstrate experience of civil engineering projects – ideally within rail - and have a HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction. PACKAGE

• £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary
• Company car and fuel card
• Lodging allowance
• 21 days’ holiday + 8 days’ bank holiday
